Lynne Risk

Hi, I'm Lynne.

I’m a senior designer with over a decade of experience in UX, visual design, and creative direction. I’ve led in-house design at a large public-sector organization for 7.5 years, worked independently with clients as a freelancer, and contributed to agency teams on a wide range of projects. I’m also a design educator and an NN/g Certified UX Professional in Interaction Design. My work is grounded in accessibility, clarity, and collaboration—focused on creating thoughtful, people-first design across digital and print.

I’m originally from Calgary, AB on Treaty 7 territory—home to the Niitsitapi, Tsuut’ina, Îyârhe Nakoda Nations, and Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3. I’ve lived in Victoria, BC since 2005, on lək̓ʷəŋən Territory, the unceded lands of the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations.
