Bringing Tahltan Stories to Print

My work on Tene Mehodihi combined deep listening, typographic sensitivity, and collaborative layout to bring TWILD’s powerful storytelling to life. I developed a visual system that honoured both contemporary design practices and the intergenerational spirit of the project. Each page was thoughtfully composed to foreground the voices of Elders, artists, and youth in balance with photography, artwork, and land-based learning narratives.

This project required custom layout design across more than 50 pages, including a memory map, essays, interviews, performance documentation, and archival material. The resulting printed publication supports TWILD’s land-based leadership programming and preserves the cultural knowledge of the Tahltan Nation in a beautiful and tangible way.
