My career in design began in print, when I worked for student union publications at the University of Victoria. Using a combination of traditional layout practices and Quark Express and Macromedia Freehand, I did advertising and layout design for The Emily, Thirdspace, and The Martlet.
I have designed print products from business cards to billboards and many things in between including magazine-style corporate reports, banners, brochures, and more swag than I can count. It is still thrilling to work on a digital layout project and that then becomes a real product.
